Wind

Winds blow with purpose. No wind moves without destination or forethought. The same wind that blew my candle this evening honoring the flame of life Rosa Parks embodied, blows every leaf to its assigned spot for decay and growth. This same wind assists in sowing seeds for harvest and life. So what wind has blown in my direction this evening? The wind that makes life exciting and unexpected. A new knowledge, a new revelation, a new self-discovery.

Tonight I was blessed with a special delivery of a particular caliber. An old time visitor revealed to me all over again and in a new light. Purposed for what? To understand God's Divine chess game; His strategic movement of pieces. Oftentime we go on in life as if we have it all figured out... We know what the next move is... How the game works. God allows us to believe that for a little bit, but will quickly reveal to us that we have not cracked the code just yet...

She That Sow In Tears Shall Reap in Joy

For that girl who sows tears every night in the creases of her pillow. So much so that the threads are laced with a sorrow from deep within her spirit. Spirit sodden pillows that one day might grow beyond her imagination. Her soft-strong head might lay upon those threads to witness a splendid sunrise that, unbeknownst to her, could never mirror the splendor of the coming dawn of her own aurora.

The coming of dawn for this girl could be more earth shaking than her mortal mind could ever fathom. As the earth's core heats and its plates move, volcanoes errupt and how much more appropriate that the well-being of her spirit parallel that of God's good soil (tierra).

Don't shudder young girl at the volcanoes of today. Do not shudder for too long. Your time is coming sooner than you can imagine. Sooner than you can ever imagine.

A splendid aurora.

Sister... You Been On My Mind...

My sister looked into my eyes and said, "I see revelation there."
My sister looked into my spirit and said, "I see beautiful there."
My sister looked into my heart and said, "I see trouble there."
My sister looked into my face and saw a world of possibility stretched out over a splendid horizon...

I offer praise for my sisters that have stood as firm as trees aligned on this road toward glory. I salute you all for not swaying in my wind, providing shelter from the rain and shade from the sweltering sun. I could never offer enough thanks for these God-sends that have allowed my struggle to come full circle. God had mapped out the circumference of this trial and eloquently planted these trees to sustain me. And I offer Praise.

A little sister of mine opened her spirit up to me, shining wisdome beyond her own understanding. Her light was so bright through such a beautiful correspondence that I cried. Not only does LIGHT recognize LIGHT, it offers warmth to its counterpart. I salute you little sister. And I thank you for seeing my spirit for what it is, for seeing my eyes and what they hold, and my heart for what it endures. Though you are far from a blank page... your heart did provide me an answer.

Love That...

The HOW is not always the important question. In many instances, the ARE/IS can be the best thing you have in life.

You ARE beautiful.
You ARE divinely chosen.
The time IS now.

Why ask God how I became beautiful in His sight? Why ask God how my lot was cast? The bottom line is that these things are already in existence. I have been chosen to bring forth words at this very moment for my spirit to speak and for divine domino effects to happen. Why ask HOW? Why ask why?

He chose me and He chose you. To fight the fights we fight and endure the battles we endure. He has chosen us to be valiant and a strong warrior must train. Fortitude is not accomplished overnight. It takes fire to bring forth gold.

So why question the HOW when it already IS in your life? There are no accidents; no flukes of nature; no coincidences. Love what you are given because those that are content with the lot they are cast understand the love they have received from Heaven. They understand the divine concept of love and that it endureth forever overshadowing circumstance, temporary trial or mishapen thought processes. God's love goes beyond my circumstance, beyond my mind's trial and makes my spirit shimmer.

So love that. Love what you have been chosen to become.

Selah

It takes a woman to know herself in order to love others fully. I encourage the establishment of the womanly self before attempting to fulfill womanly duties. It is a difficult task... but our job is even more difficult. Could it be that God has set this challenge upon us in order for us to fulfill our roles more fully at a later time?

At 21 I am not as wise as I one day will be. It is a difficult time right now... But only within the confinements of my mind. The eyes do not bear witness to the storms of my spirit. (your eyes nor mine) My life looks as if every cusp glistens brightly... but the mind is the navigator of life. Only when your mind is sound enough to follow the spirit does positivity manifest itself before your eyes. THAT is the journey my feet have found. That road is the road I've grown accustomed to. I have not always followed it according to plan. I have stopped for water... entertainment... got hustled a few times... but with focus and determination I am back.

My mind and my spirit must become one. So that I might follow my God more boldly and obediently in establishing myself and building the confidence shed on this rough road. But, I believe. And because I believe, it is done.

Dawn

I woke up this morning and it was dawn... and I loved myself. The Spring Summer Feeling had arrived and the warmth liquified my insides. I didn't quite recognize myself at first until I sang... Then I got that familiar feeling and my soul said "There you are..."

Then the phone rang. It was purpose disguised as a foe. I guess we don't get those often... No one recognizes them at first. At first glance they look like 'problems' (a relative term). This 'problem' was just the opposite. A blessing that opened my soul up. The can opener to my baked beans. The impetus for my sunrise. This visitor spread a golden film over the gray of a rainy day.

So after consultation from my angels, I realized purpose. PURPOSE. A word we overlook far too often. We all wake up some days and believe that our existence is defined by our problems when in reality we are completley missing the next step. Sure our problems usually confine our actions for the day (how we will think of them, how we will deal with them, the action plan to overcoming them etc.) but the next step of that is the blessing that is waiting for us on the inside of the problem. Just awaiting our arrival. Reminds me of the Russian dolls... where there's a smaller and smaller doll under each layer. Our problems get smaller just like those dolls, but our blessings get even bigger with each layer. Trudging through the mud of our problem to find the sunshine at the end should be our ultimate goal rather than wallowing in the grief of the problem. The treasure is in the perseverance. The reward is the smallest doll.

PURPOSE. You grow apart from certain people to get to another level. Too much of anything is a bad thing. And fortunately these circumstances are not in our control. The possibility of companionship is a mystery we've yet to crack. Friends, boyfriends, associates come and go. And its a good thing too! Hindsight is 20-20 and we know that if we would have kept those certain hinderances around... we would never have reached the level of peace or righteousness we've come to embrace today. It is difficult to recognize when folks are transitioning out of your life... Sometimes its just a lot of hurt... then next thing you know, they're gone.

So what's the cause? PURPOSE. Our Creator has divine purpose for all of our lives that we should be THANKFUL is out of our hands. I know I am. I desire a golden life. And there are growing pains associated with that. I welcome them with trust that my Lord will never give me more than I can handle. It is all to make me stronger and more golden in His sight.

The Lord hung these jewels on the dew of dawn this morning. My spirit woke up and grabbed them in preparation for the events of the day. And it was beautiful. Because I now understand purpose.

Let purpose manifest itself. Don't fight it. It will make you golden...

Love,
Zarina Dawn.
